The Dept. of Human Services and HIDOE's Hawaiʻi Child Nutrition Program have announced that families with children who are eligible for free or reduced-price school meals will receive temporary cash assistance for food, due to the impact of school closures during the COVID-19 public health crisis.

This temporary assistance program will provide Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) School Meals Replacement Benefits to more than 93,000 students receiving free or reduced-price school meals in Hawaiʻi, including almost 48,000 students already receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Programs (SNAP) benefits.

Hawaiʻi households are eligible if they have students who are either enrolled for free or reduced-price school meals or attend a school that provides free meals to all students through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) or another provision.

7th-grade students and New Students to NHIS with Last Name Beginning with L-Z

Drive to gym where ID Photos will be taken and information packet distributed, then Drive to Bandroom Building L (across from gym) where 7th grade and new 8th grade students can purchase school uniform shirts.
